#162958 - compilation/assembly
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Gary,

My suggestion would be to download the evaluation version of the µVision IDE (Integrated Development Environment) from www.keil.com. It is a fully function system that lets you develop in C and/or assembly. It also includes a fully functional simulation/debugging system. And yes, it will automatically generate your hex file. The only limitation is that you can not generate any program code greater than 2 kBytes with the evaluation package. Your source code can be as large as you like, but it must compile to less than 2 kB.

Good luck,

Joe
