#162772 - U's Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Erik,
Sending 'U's makes no difference, and RI is clear during idle. I have to manually set it in order to step to the next instruction, which clears it. It's not like corrupt data is getting put in the accumulator. Nothing is being sent to the accumulator. Although that does suggest an interesting test. I'll insert a line of code to put some value into the accumulator and see if it changes. It occurs to me that I'm assuming nothing is being sent because the accumulator holds 0x00 before and after the MOV A, SBUF instruction. I want to make certain that it isn't moving 0x00 into the accumulator, which might relate to those two physically separate SBUF registers (both at Address 0x99?! I think they did that just to jerk me around). Joe |
