I am using a mini serial printer i.e. receipt printer.
serial port ... the only option provided on the receipt printer. Welcome back - but could you not have provided that information earlier? But it is still insufficient: What are the specifications for this "serial port"? Note that it would be perfectly valid to call I2C, SPI, or any other proprietary scheme a "serial" port - so you first need to establish precisely what sort of "serial" port it is. As already noted, Even if it is a standard Async serial port, that still says nothing about what actually has to be sent over the interface! You need to study the Datasheet and/or any other Specifications for your particular printer to determine its requirements. Only when you know the requirements can you start to even think about writing or obtaining software to meet those requirements! |
