Hi Andy, This is specially true with an AC coil solenoid. I presume that the OP is talking of a DC coil. In that case, the initial current is zero and will "slowly" (deppending of coil inductance and resistance) increase to the final current, deppending of the coil resistance. Of course, not considering the distributed capacitance. Daniel |
