Given that your data rate is finite, transferring an infinite amount of data would take infinite time. Since this ball of matter won't last that long, you can't achieve your goal :)
Perhaps more helpfully, you should define your requirements a little better. A simple solution is to just have the receiver re-transmit any bytes it receives on i2c out its rs232 interface. If you want to guarantee data integrity and get positive confirmation of transfers, look to a session based protocol such as TCP for ideas. |
