SDCC 2.8.0 released

SDCC, a free/open source 'C' compiler for the 8051 and other small embedded devices, released version 2.8.0 today. For the MCS-51/8051 the following features were added:
  1. New option --acall-ajmp: Replaces lcall/ljmp with acall/ajmp
  2. Generation of debug info for variables in pdata
  3. Many bug fixes and general enhancements.
