AUSTIN, TX (08-Aug-2001) - Cygnal Integrated Products and SANYO Semiconductor Company have signed an agreement making SANYO an exclusive sales agent for Cygnal’s in-system programmable, mixed-signal microcontroller products and support tools in Japan, and non-exclusive sales agent throughout the rest of Asia. This arrangement provides the Asian electronic marketplace with easy access to Cygnal’s leading edge, mixed-signal microcontroller products through SANYO’s well-established sales channel and substantially extends SANYO’s analog/mixed-signal product portfolio.
